ECOLOGY APPROACH
Ecological Assessment and Design
If you’ve got an Ecology project you would like to discuss please get in touch with our Director of Ecology Val Gateley.
With over 16 years’ experience in the ecology including specialist knowledge in habitat survey and assessment, we can deliver a wide range of ecological services, including Biodiversity Net Gain (England) and Net Benefit for Biodiversity (Wales) assessments, in support of your project.
Our approach is to identify a robust ecological baseline from which our assessment work is based. Through a collaborative approach with clients and our in-house expertise in Landscape Architecture and Drainage design we will design effective species mitigation, habitat creation and enhancement to help ensure projects fully integrate Biodiversity Net Gain requirements and successfully mitigate any impacts to protected species.
We draw our inspiration for ecological mitigation design from the local environment which ensures that created or enhance habitat fits in with the local landscape and provides effective refuge, foraging and commuting options local fauna.
