Building with Nature is a standards-based framework which helps schemes tackle the increasing demand on Local Authorities and developers to improve biodiversity, place-making, climate change and sustainable water management within their proposals.
We have a number of Building with Nature champions in our team and look to apply the 12 standards of good quality green infrastructure into all Land Studio’s projects.
The standards cover wellbeing, water and wildlife which positively address climate change, biodiversity loss and the health and wellbeing emergency through Building with Nature.
BwN standards have been designed and developed by a board of professionals to specifically address planning policy and reduce planning risk assisting developers and local authorities to design and deliver high-quality green infrastructure for the future.
By using these standards, we can demonstrate high quality green and blue infrastructure. At Land Studio, we put nature front and centre of all our projects, integrating the benefits it has for future generations and for tackling the climate emergency. Building with Nature is there to assist local authorities and developers through planning policy and deliver resilient places for the future.
