Design of a new apartment scheme

We have also won work for a new apartment scheme planned for Bedminster in Bristol.

Land Studio is working alongside ECE Westworks Architects and developer Dandara on detailed designs of the public realm and private courtyard spaces for 295 homes due to be built at Little Paradise Street in the city.

The scope of the project involves streetscape design alongside a number of semi-private courtyard and rooftop spaces for the residents.

We are developing the idea of a series of woodland habitats within the courtyards incorporating canopy layers and understorey planting as found in naturally occurring woodland settings.

By taking this approach, we will create an array of textures, colours and wildlife for residents to enjoy from their windows and whilst in the space.

Everything we do as a practice is about connecting people with nature – and this is a great example of how we do it.
