As part of their World Environment Day coverage, the Environment Journal featured Claudia Frost’s article on nature’s transformation of an old sandstone quarry in North Wales.

Claudia, an Associate Landscape Architect at Land Studio, described how the quarry, which closed in 1952 and is a former site of heavy industry, is now rich in biodiversity - proving the planet’s incredible resilience and ability to recover.
