Barlows Caravan Park

At Barlows Caravan Park near Caerwys, Land Studio supported the extension and remodelling of an existing static and touring caravan site.

We undertook landscape assessment to understand visual sensitivities and guide the development parameters. The resulting landscape design embeds new accommodation areas within a robust structure of hedgerows, tree planting and meadow grassland.

This approach softens the expanded park’s presence in the wider countryside, enhances ecological networks and improves the overall visitor experience.

The proposals balanced the operator’s need for additional pitches with a clear strategy for environmental enhancement, helping secure planning support through a well‑considered, landscape‑led scheme.
