Funding available for innovative solutions to sustainable drainage in Wales

A grant scheme is available which supports the development of small-scale, retro-fit, sustainable drainage solutions in Wales.

SuDS help to reduce surface water flooding in built up areas and can reduce run-off into local rivers and streams. SuDS schemes can reduce localised flooding and improve water quality in rural landscapes.

The grant scheme is available from Natural Resources Water and applications have to be submitted by midnight on Monday 25th September 2023.

All applicants need to demonstrate how their project would use innovation to improve current approaches, as well as demonstrating how they would reduce carbon emissions, enhance biodiversity and provide health and wellbeing benefits to the local community.
