Our work with holiday parks

We are working with a number of caravan parks, holiday parks and leisure sites across the country. Many are family run businesses, some second or third generation, and they are looking to enhance the setting of their sites to appeal to new customers, who are increasingly looking for parks with beautiful natural landscapes.

Our work can make a difference. As landscape architects we embrace nature wherever we can. One of the ways we do this is by analysing the native habitat and promoting it in a site.

We introduce more texture and diversity, by specifying new native hedgerows, woodlands, grasslands and wildflower meadows. With our new in-house engineering team, we also integrate clever holistic drainage and water management solutions to further enhance the landscape.

Not only does embracing nature enhance a site, it can also be commercially efficient. On a recent caravan park project we suggested replacing some of the more formal and high maintenance mowed grass areas with wildflower meadows, saving money in labour and fuel costs.

Much more cost effective, better for the environment and beautiful to look at, and just an example of the work we do with leisure sites to create sensitive, vibrant landscapes that customers want to visit and keep returning to.
