Land Studio is working closely with the Trust to develop a site-wide masterplan that brings together the outdoor centre, self-catering accommodation, and the wider woodland and landscape setting into a cohesive and considered whole.

Accessibility and inclusive design sit at the heart of the project. The masterplan aims to ensure that all visitors, regardless of ability, can fully engage with the landscape — moving through and experiencing the site in a meaningful way.

The design vision is nature-led and immersive, drawing on the character of the surrounding woodland and opening up views towards the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The result will be a landscape that feels purposefully connected to its setting — welcoming, restorative, and designed for everyone.
