Pale Wood Holiday Park

Land Studio supported the expansion of Palewood Holiday Park with an extension of static caravan pitches on the park’s upper slopes.

Our layout and landscape proposals set new units within the existing landform and vegetation, limiting visibility and reinforcing landscape character.

Environmental improvements across the park, including new planting, habitat creation and enhanced green corridors, formed a key part of the strategy.

A robust landscape assessment and evidence base supported the planning process, and the scheme was ultimately approved at appeal.

The project illustrates how a sensitive, nature‑based design approach can unlock development potential in challenging locations.
