Silvergates is a niche timber lodge development close to Menai Bridge, set within an existing woodland environment.
Land Studio provided landscape design and assessment to guide a low‑impact scheme that works with the site’s mature trees and natural character.
Lodges are woven through the woodland, using existing clearings where possible to minimise tree loss.
Understorey planting, native woodland edge species and informal paths enhance biodiversity and the sense of seclusion.
Our assessment work demonstrated how the proposals could preserve and strengthen the woodland setting while delivering a high‑quality holiday product, helping to secure planning support in a sensitive location.
