Fell Foot, Cumbria

Fell Foot, located in Windermere, Cumbria, is a picturesque lakeshore park managed by the National Trust. The site features stunning views, a Boathouse café, and opportunities for water sports, making it an ideal destination for families. 

Land Studio were commissioned to develop a design for the creation of more accessible pathways throughout the park, providing a more appealing and direct route to the visitor hub at the Boathouse by the lake. In addition to improving accessibility, the design also aimed to preserve the natural beauty of the area while integrating modern amenities. The enhanced pathways were carefully planned to blend seamlessly with the landscape, ensuring that the park remains a cherished destination for visitors of all ages.

The project included Stakeholder engagement meetings and consultation presentations which were led by Land Studio with visual images produced to provide an understanding of the interventions proposed.
