The Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park Visitor Centre, located in Betws-y-Coed, has long served as a key gateway for tourists exploring Snowdonia since the 18th century.

Recognizing the historical and strategic importance of this location, Land Studio provided a comprehensive site analysis, aimed at increasing the visibility and accessibility of the visitor centre. This analysis also sought to strengthen connections between the village and the surrounding natural landscape, ensuring a seamless integration of the visitor experience with the park’s unique environment.

The design phase focused on promoting commercial opportunities while preserving the centre’s role as an informative hub. By enhancing pathways, signage, and visual cues, Land Studio aimed to draw more foot traffic from the village, fostering greater engagement with the centre. This holistic approach not only bolstered the visitor centre’s prominence but also supported local businesses, contributing to the economic vitality of Betws-y-Coed.
