Our health and wellbeing and the quality of the outdoor spaces we create has never been more important. In our education work we respond to this by bringing colour, nature and movement into our projects to create rich, vibrant and immersive spaces. We design landscape masterplans for schools, including specialist schools, colleges and universities.

We put the experiential qualities of the external realm at the heart of our concept design. Connecting students and staff to nature through multifunctional spaces such as learning gardens, wildlife walks and growing areas all come together into the school’s daily routine.

Our robust, climate resilient landscape schemes enhance local character and habitat systems whilst providing sensory qualities for the children. A key part of our school designs are workshops with the clients and children. By engaging with the children about design, wildlife and climate change we can inspire the next generation to become our future environmental ambassadors.

Each school is different and their individual needs inspire and shape the way we approach each landscape design. Whether its Additional Learning Needs, faith or the local landscape habitat types, these factors can inspire and shape a unique design concept fit for each school project enhancing ownership and sense of place.
